Code of Ethics

Ethical business behavior is simply good business. SPS employees are expected to obey the law, act ethically, and promote honest business conduct. Each employee is held to a standard of conduct that encourages responsibility, fairness, honesty, and respect to themselves, the client, and other employees. The way in which we conduct ourselves is equally important to the results we achieve. We must never compromise our integrity to achieve results.

“I meet countless small business entrepreneurs who are attempting to do business with NRC. I can honestly state that Mr. Studley and his staff at SPS Consulting stand out among the crowd. They make no promises that they can’t fulfill and they are certainly one of our most reliable contractors.”

-Mauricio Vera, former Small Business Program Manager, NRC

Obeying the law—both its spirit and its letter—is the foundation on which our standards are built. We must respect and obey the laws, rules and regulations of the locations where we operate. We must know and abide by company policy. We must also know and abide by any customer-imposed rules affecting our behavior. Complying with laws, rules, regulations and policies is not our only responsibility. We should always consider what the “right thing to do” is.

As we conduct our business, Our Code of Ethics obligates us to act in accordance with the following:

  • We must carefully follow the laws and rules that govern our work
  • We will not compromise our values to meet financial goals or reach company plans
  • We must respect the dignity of everyone
  • We should listen openly to concerns and suggestions
  • We will not conduct business that requires us to act illegally or unethically or that places our employees in situations that compromise our ethics
  • Each of us is responsible for our own actions, and we are responsible to each other
